European champion and Olympic bronze medallist Natalia Bukowiecka will headline a high-quality women’s 400m at the Bislett Games in Oslo on June 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bukowiecka goes up against a field which includes six of the world’s top ten and five of the eight Olympic finalists from Paris 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Polish star is hoping to claim her first win of the 2025 Wanda Diamond League after opening her campaign with a strong second-place finish and season’s best of 50.92 in Doha last month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A seasoned Diamond League campaigner with three individual wins to her name, Bukowiecka will be hoping to channel the form which saw her take second place at last year’s Bislett Games with 49.80.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She will be favourite this year, but will nonetheless have her work cut out against a strong field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ireland’s Rhasidat Adeleke is the world number four and finished fourth at last year’s Olympic final. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Great Britain’s Amber Anning is the reigning world indoor champion and finished fifth in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dutch star Lieke Klaver was the bronze medallist at last year’s European Championships in Rome and is currently ranked seventh in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They will be joined by some of the most exciting rising stars over one lap, including the USA’s Isabella Whittaker, Norway’s own Henriette Jaeger and the Czech Republic’s Lurdes Gloria Manuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Wanda Diamond League is the elite one-day meeting series in global athletics. It comprises 15 of the most prestigious events in global track and field. Athletes compete for points at the 14 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final, which will be held in Zurich on 27 and 28 August 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
