Sandi Morris soared to a season’s best of 4.82m to win the women’s pole vault in Stockholm’s T\u00e4by Square on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Morris overcame Switzerland’s Angelica Moser to claim her second Diamond League win this month, having claimed her first win in three years in Rome on June 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The American survived two failures at 4.63 before rallying to defeat a world-class field at the city event in Stockholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She and Moser were the only two women to clear 4.63m. Morris then cleared 4.73m at the first attempt to seal victory, before taking 4.82m with her second jump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She fell just short of breaking her own meeting record of 4.86m, failing to clear the bar atr 4.87m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
