gold medal jump of 6.30m in the men&#8217;s pole vault was his third world record of the season, the first having come on home soil at the Diamond League meeting in Stockholm in June. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flying Dutchwoman <strong>Femke Bol<\/strong> also continued her dominance of the women&#8217;s 400m hurdles, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diamondleague.com\/serial-winners-bol-and-lyles-march-on-in-tokyo\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"18354\">defending her world title after another imperious season in the Diamond League. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as two World Championship gold medals, Bol can now boast of five Diamond Trophies and an unbeaten streak of 30 consecutive Diamond League races which stretches back to 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"lazyload smush-lazyload-video smush-lazyload-youtube\" style=\"--smush-video-aspect-ratio: 500\/281\" data-bg-image=\"url(https:\/\/www.diamondleague.com\/wp-admin\/admin-ajax.php?action=smush_video_thumbnail&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fembed%2FVo9tBi7XHEI%3Ffeature%3Doembed&#038;video_width=500&#038;video_height=281)\" ><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mondo Duplantis breaks pole vault WORLD RECORD with 6.28m in Stockholm - Wanda Diamond League 2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Vo9tBi7XHEI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
