{"id":2075,"date":"2019-08-25T12:07:16","date_gmt":"2019-08-25T12:07:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.diamondleague.com\/paris-what-you-missed\/"},"modified":"2019-08-25T12:07:16","modified_gmt":"2019-08-25T12:07:16","slug":"paris-what-you-missed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.diamondleague.com\/paris-what-you-missed\/","title":{"rendered":"Paris: What You Missed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The IAAF Diamond League Finals are just around the corner, with the first 16 Diamond Trophies ready and waiting to be won in Z\u00fcrich next Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Yet before we reached the season finale, we still had one last hurdle on the Road To The Final, and if Paris didn&#8217;t get you in the mood for Z\u00fcrich and Brussels, we don&#8217;t know what will.<\/p>\n<p>It was quite the night at the Stade Charlety, with Noah Lyles, Tom Walsh and Will Claye all ending their respective qualification journeys in explosive fashion.<\/p>\n<h3>Meeting records<\/h3>\n<p>Lyles remains the man of the moment in men&#8217;s sprinting, and he soared to a meeting record of 19.65 in the men&#8217;s 200m on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It felt fast.
