Rai Benjamin (400m hurdles) and Norah Jeruto (3000m steeplechase) both set meeting records, while Kenyans Timothy Cheruiyot and Faith Kipyegon showed why they remain the athletes to beat over 1500m with a world lead apiece. Mondo Duplantis fell just short of setting another record himself as he boldly attempted to clear 6.19m after winning the pole vault. Katie Nageotte claimed another victory in the women&#8217;s pole vault, beating world champion Anzhelika Sidorova and Olympic champion Katerina Stefanidi to raise hopes of more success in Tokyo.
